A chance-taking but rewarding variation of rummy is knock rummy. When playing Knock Rummy, players can choose to knock if they think they have assembled sets and sequences that are valid and total at least 51 points. A player receives penalty points if they knock incorrectly; if they knock successfully, they win the round.
