Rummy is a simple yet entertaining game that is easy for beginners to learn & still has depth for more experienced players. A predetermined number of cards from a shuffled deck are usually dealt to each player at the start of the game. A draw pile is formed by the remaining cards, & a discard pile is formed by placing one card face-up next to the draw pile. In order to form valid sets and runs with their hands, players alternately draw cards from the draw or discard pile.
