  • Analyze and be patient. Being patient is especially important because making snap decisions can result in bad card management and lost meld-forming opportunities. Players can choose wisely which cards to keep & which to discard by taking the time to consider the current state of play.
  • Aces can be worth one or eleven points, depending on how they are used in melds, while face cards (Kings, Queens, and Jacks) are worth ten points each. Numbered cards carry their face value. Because players have to concentrate on both creating their own melds and reducing the number of points in their opponents' hands, this scoring system introduces another level of strategy.
